Our Facility
Advanced Coating Capabilities Backed by a Purpose-Built Facility
Our 65,000 sq. ft. facility is located near Carlisle, Pennsylvania. We operate two coating lines capable of applying specialty coatings, including TGIC powder coating, on parts of nearly any size.
All powder coat lines feature blast machines that use steel grit to clean parts before coating. We also have a five-stage pretreatment system that includes chemical cleaning and sealing. All coating booths are equipped for both automatic and manual powder application.
As part of our Quality Control Department, we have an in-house lab that performs adhesion (foil test), cathodic disbondment, impact, and other performance tests.
Wide Range of Rust-Preventive Powder Coatings Available
In addition to TGIC powder coating, we can apply the following powder coating types at our facility:
- Dual Epoxy Powders
- Epoxy Powders
- Hybrid Powders
- Zinc-rich Powder Coating Primer
- Organic, Liquid Zinc-rich Primer
- Duplex Polyester
- Polymer Coating
Our custom coating line is an overhead conveyor system over 1,100’ in total length. It has capabilities to either Epoxy coat material less than 30” wide by 102” tall, or Polyester/Polymer coat material 24” wide by 84” tall. Neither are restricted by length and can handle material weighing up to 300lbs per linear foot. Our Epoxy coated rebar line can process #3 up to #24 rebar at lengths between 16’ and 60’. Our facility also includes a rail siding, enabling us to handle rail as well as truck shipments.
High Volume Powder Coating Projects Are Never a Problem
The large size and extraordinary capabilities of our facility mean that no project is too big for Lane Coatings. In fact, we specialize in turning around high-volume powder coating jobs quickly. Our typical lead time is less than a week, and shorter lead times may also be possible for projects with tight deadlines. Depending on the size of the part, the application of the rust-preventive powder coating takes from a few seconds to about an hour, and the coated parts are ready for immediate shipment.
