Water Quality Devices

Lane offers a number of water quality devices to supplement its storm water storage system offerings to provide the complete picture of storm water management. Devices used upstream of storage systems, alongside storm sewer runs, or downstream of storage systems are available to address all water quality requirements.

Our Products:

StormKleener™ Filter Cartridge System

The Lane StormKleener Filter Cartridge System uses one or more cylindrical, media-filled cartridges housed in a containment vessel made from corrugated metal pipe, plastic pipe, or reinforced concrete. This passive filtration system effectively treats stormwater by capturing pollutants during runoff events. The design naturally facilitates backwashing, helping extend cartridge life and maintain optimal performance over time.

StormKeeper™ Sediment Strip

The NJCAT-verified StormKeeper Sediment Strip integrates seamlessly into chamber system designs by enhancing a selected row with three key treatment benefits. During the initial phase of a storm, runoff is diverted through a small manhole or drain basin outfitted with a weir. This allows early, more contaminated flows—often referred to as the “first flush”—to be directed into the Sediment Strip row before overflowing into adjacent chambers.

Counter Flow Technology (CFT)

Lane’s Counter Flow Technology (CFT) unit is an efficient, low-maintenance solution for meeting NPDES Phase II stormwater permitting requirements. Fabricated from durable corrugated HDPE pipe, the CFT targets and treats the first flush of runoff, removing pollutants without the need for mechanical or moving parts. Its streamlined, cost-effective design offers long-term reliability and treatment performance for a variety of applications.

Corrugated Metal Pipe Sand Filter (CMPSF)

The Corrugated Metal Pipe Sand Filter from Lane offers a reliable method for filtering stormwater by removing contaminants before discharge. Built to meet today’s increasingly stringent water quality standards, this system effectively targets the first flush and helps meet EPA requirements. The CMPSF is widely recognized as a benchmark for sand filter performance, offering proven results in a compact, corrosion-resistant format.
